The original is an abstract acrylic painting with collage on a 12" square wooden panel. My palette was inspired by a salad image in the newspaper. It also includes bits of old Burmese newsprint, so I titled it Salad in Burmese.
I am a native San Franciscan who lived in New York and London for a total of 30 years before returning to SF. Always interested in art, I held off considering myself a serious artist until I returned to San Francisco when I re-designed my career and my life. I am mainly self-taught, though have taken various classes in painting and photography over the years.
